Project Expectations

When can you start?
How long will my project take?

These are common questions asked and we understand why they are so important. Here’s a basic timeframe and average pricing we’ve put together after years of remodeling and up-fitting homes. Let these help guide you in your decisions and expectations in your remodeling project.

The Value of
Pre-Construction

At BoCo Modern, we believe that a successful remodeling project starts long before any construction begins.

Our comprehensive pre-construction phase is designed to set the foundation for a smooth, well-executed project by focusing on clear planning, reducing errors, and aligning everyone involved.

Why Pre-Construction Matters

Our pre-construction process is not just a preliminary step—it’s a crucial part of ensuring your project meets the highest standards. Studies show that projects with a detailed pre-construction phase see up to 80% fewer errors compared to those without. This means less time correcting issues, fewer unexpected delays, and a more seamless experience for you.

A Team Approach to Planning

To ensure everyone is on the same page, we hold a dedicated pre-construction meeting with you, our design team, and your project manager.

This meeting allows us to go over every aspect of the project, address any questions, and make sure everyone has a shared vision for the space. This collaborative approach builds confidence, clarity, and a roadmap for the entire project.

Our commitment to pre-construction is part of what sets us apart. We’re not just preparing for construction—we’re preparing for success, with precision and pride in every detail.

Timeline

Timelines can vary greatly from project to project based on the scope and unique details of your remodel.

Factors like pulling permits, obtaining variances, ordering samples, and finalizing selections all play a role in the process. We manage these behind-the-scenes tasks carefully to create a seamless experience, allowing you to continue living in your home comfortably.

Construction Phase:

Budget Expectations

The level of finishes typically has the greatest impact on budget.

The budget for kitchen with high-end appliance and custom cabinetry could be 50% higher than the same kitchen with entry-level appliances and stock cabinetry.  Every project is unique and our decades of experience have equipped us to help our clients.  Our team is committed to helping you understand options and costs so you are able to make decisions that keep the project within your budget.
